This is required if you are applying or renewing a National Race, Truck or Long Circuit Kart Licence and you are over the age of 60 or have previously declared medical conditions.

Renewal of National or Inter Club – Race, Truck or Long Circuit Kart Licences

• If you are aged between 14 and 44 only a vision test is required.
• If you are 45 and above you must complete a vision test every 36 months
• If you are aged 60 and over, a medical assessment, Resting ECG
• You must have a medical at the following age intervals: 60, 65, 70, 72 annually from the age 74

If you have reached one of the above age intervals since your last medical report, you must have a medical and resting ECG.

Renewal of International Licences

•  Your previous medical examination is valid for 12 months and can be used to renew your licence provided that your application is received and processed before the 12-month validity period expires.
• When upgrading from National to International level, the licence must be processed within 3 months of a medical examination being completed.
• A valid ECG (heart tracing) is required for all applicants (previous ECGs are valid for 24 months).

-For those aged 44 or below, a resting ECG is required.
-For those aged 45 and over, an exercise ECG is required (a signed cardiologist’s report must be supplied with this)
